StandardAero recently celebrated completion of its 2,500th workscope on the best-selling GE Aviation CF34™ turbofan engine. StandardAero was first appointed as an Authorized Service Provider (ASP) for the CF34-3 and CF34-8 in 2001.
StandardAero provides a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the CF34 family from its Winnipeg facility in MB, Canada. The company’s commitment to delivered quality was reaffirmed in 2013, when StandardAero was appointed by GE as the first independent TRUEngine™ authorized MRO provider for the CF34.
In addition, StandardAero’s Business Aviation team offers CF34 Authorized Line Service maintenance throughout all of its North American facilities, including Springfield, IL (SPI), Houston, TX (IAH) and Augusta, GA (AGS). StandardAero has supported CF34-3 business jet applications as an Authorized Service Center (ASC) since 2012, and recently renewed its ASC agreement for a further five years.
“The completion of our 2,500th CF34 workscope is a true milestone for one of StandardAero’s most important programs,” commented Oliver Albig, Vice President & General Manger, CF34/CFM56 at StandardAero. “We are proud of our long-term partnership with GE Aviation, and grateful to our global base of CF34 customers for entrusting us with their MRO needs. Our team is committed to constantly raising the standard, and we look forward to providing responsive, quality support to CF34 operators for years to come.”
