Swiss Aviation Consulting® a Swiss-based Aircraft Asset Management, Advisory and Training company is gearing up for the next phase of its corporate development.
Since its foundation in 2005 Swiss Aviation Consulting has successfully grown the business with current bases in Zug, (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Johannesburg (South Africa) and is now in the process of adapting the organisational structure to lay the foundation for future expansion.
Simon Diggelmann has been promoted to Vice President managing the group’s Aircraft Asset Management and Technical Services. Simon has been with SAC since 2015 initially as a Key Account Manager and has gradually developed into managerial and sales roles. Simon has a background as a licensed aircraft engineer and holds a degree in General Management.
Patric Kohler has been appointed Head of SAC’s Advisory Services. SAC offers Aviation Management Systems predominantly for airlines, business aviation and helicopter operators based on its unique cloud-based knowledge management platform with compliance and cost management and auditing services complementing the service offering. Patric holds a degree in Tourism Management and has successfully acquired hands-on aircraft operation experience in various roles over the past 12 years.
Sascha Gammeter, Group COO, has, after careful deliberation decided to terminate his employment with SAC and return to the airline industry in a technical capacity. “I am very grateful to Sascha who has helped SAC to strengthen its role and technical capabilities in aircraft asset management over the last four years”, says Dr. Daniel Lütolf, the founder and Chairman/CEO of Swiss Aviation Consulting®.
Daniel Lütolf has appointed a highly experienced CEO who will join SAC in late summer 2019. “Bringing a new CEO into the group will allow me to concentrate on the strategic function as group chairman. At the same time the new CEO with his background in areas of aviation, management advisory and asset management will focus on fully exploiting the potential of SAC’s unique set-up, the recent investments into our proprietary aviation knowledge base and the skill sets of our subject matter experts.”, he says. “I am convinced that the new organisational structure, the new CEO and the promotion of Simon and Patric will pave the way to grow the Swiss Aviation Consulting Group to the next level”.
