ST Engineering’s VIP completions arm, AERIA Luxury Interiors (AERIA) has secured two new maintenance program contracts to support a Boeing 767 and 737, further entrenching its position as an integrated solutions provider for private jets.
Maintenance work have already begun for the Boeing 767 at AERIA’s facility in San Antonio, U.S.., which includes inspection for over the wing box as well as forward and aft entry, and significant services such as an override/jettison pump wiring change and flight compartment BMS 8-39 urethane foam replacement. As for the Boeing 737, the aircraft is scheduled to arrive in late July at the San Antonio facility where it will receive a 36-month check including electrical upgrades to the wing flaps, flap landing warning limit switches and related wire bundles. AERIA will also perform various operational checks including water system and O2 system inspections.
Ron Soret, Vice President/General Manager of AERIA, said, “These contracts are testimony to the trust and confidence that private jet owners have in our team of experienced engineers and technical talents, who are able to deliver high levels of maintenance service and support across various platforms time and again. The contracts also go to show that customers see the value in coming to us for maintenance support on top of VIP completions solutions.”
AERIA has performed various maintenance checks for over 46 Boeing aircraft since June 2013 at its San Antonio facility, which can house two wide body or three narrow body aircraft at any one time. Further to maintenance, AERIA offers a complete suite of VIP modification and completions services on both Boeing and Airbus platforms, and is an approved Boeing Completions Center. It is currently carrying out a Boeing 737 VIP completion program which is slated for redelivery later this year.
