Napa Jet Center (KAPC) is a key location for general aviation traffic coming to the Bay Area for this year’s football season finale on Sunday, February 7th. Many game related events will be hosted in the San Francisco and Napa areas resulting in high demand on amenities across the Bay Area. The FAA has implemented an arrival/departure slot system throughout the entire Bay Area between February 4th and February 8th.

GKN Aerospace has delivered innovative wing components as part of a major research program to test and measure the benefits of natural laminar flow (NLF) designs during trials on the wing of a flight test aircraft. The Breakthrough Laminar Aircraft Demonstrator in Europe (BLADE) project is part of the Clean Sky Smart Fixed Wing Aircraft** (SWFA) program, an extensive, 50% European Union-funded, multi-partner activity aimed at lowering fuel consumption and emissions by reducing aircraft drag.

The first EASA-registered aircraft is based in Brussels, Belgium, under the management of Smart Air SA, which took delivery of the aircraft last week. The new mid-light business jet is available for charter and will be operated by ASL.

Shell Aviation has invested in a brand new jet fuel depot at Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport (l'Aéroport de Paris-Beauvais-Tillé - BVA), which is one of the ten busiest airports in France by passenger number. The new depot, set out over 8000m² of land, offers three times the storage capacity compared to the former facilities, increasing supply security at the airport.
