STANDARDAERO TO PROVIDE ENGINE AND APU MRO SERVICES FOR NORDICA AIRLINES

StandardAero was recently selected by Regional Jet OÜ, operating as Nordica Airlines, to provide MRO services for Honeywell RE220 auxiliary power units (APUs) on its fleet of CRJ-700 & 900 fleet aircraft and MRO services for Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW127M turboprop engines powering its fleet of ATR-600 aircraft.

Nordica is the flag carrier for Estonia and a strategic partner to LOT Polish Airlines.  Nordica is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia and based at Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, where it serves at the largest air carrier at that airport.
“This new partnership is important for StandardAero and our selection will increase the company’s visibility in Europe while demonstrating our capability to offer multi-product and cross-product maintenance support solutions to airline customers,” said Philippe Albrecht, Regional Sales Director for StandardAero Airlines & Fleets.

StandardAero is a Pratt & Whitney Canada Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) and independent MRO provider for nearly all PW100 models.  With more than 20 years of reliable turboprop experience, the company has overhauled more than 3,000 turboprop engines.  In addition, StandardAero is a Honeywell GTCP36 and RE220 APU Authorized Service Center supporting customers with world-class MRO services, processing well over 6,000 APUs and routinely supports aircraft fleets with over 100 APUs.
