25/09/2010 HIGH-PERFORMANCE LEARJET TO PERFORM FLYBY AT WICHITA FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT
Bombardier Aerospace will be showcasing its current production Learjet 40 XR, Learjet 45 XR and Learjet 60 XR aircraft along with a Challenger 300 and a Global 5000 business aircraft at the upcoming Wichita Festival of Flight at the McConnell Air Force Base on September 25 and 26, in Wichita. Marking the occasion will be a Learjet flyby.
The McConnell Open House, combined this year with the Wichita Festival of Flight, is an important event for our community. We are very proud to participate and happy to have this opportunity to show some of the other aircraft in Bombardier’s industry-leading product range to our local aviation community, said David Coleal, Vice-President and General Manager, Learjet, Bombardier Business Aircraft. Wichita is the birthplace of Learjet and the iconic Learjet brand will always be part of this great city’s aviation heritage. The Open House begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 25, and admission is free. The Learjet aircraft flyby is scheduled for early afternoon.
