Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in Airbus Corporate Jet VIP cabin completion and customised nose-to-tail services, has delivered its latest cabin, an ACJ319, to a Head of State. The elegant VIP cabin was designed by ACJC’s Design Studio.

For this government interior, space and ergonomics were favoured to facilitate work in a relaxing and peaceful ambiance. Certificated for 19 passengers, the wide and tall Airbus ACJ319 cabin is emphasised by a clean interior-design and a long perspective, allowing passengers to see the entire cabin at a glance, from wherever they are in the six zones of the aircraft.

The business-like main lounge is built around an imposing table that can accommodate up to six people, surrounded by two sideboards with fluid shapes and a large liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor.

Dedicated to privacy, the aft zones comprise a cosy office featuring Club Two seating and a sofa, a master bedroom including a Queen-size bed with a divan, and a large independent washroom with full-height oval shower.

“The cabin is designed to communicate comfort throughout: from bright colours and fluid shapes to noble materials such as high-quality leathers, polished marble and hand-made wool carpet,” says Sylvain Mariat, Head of the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre Design Studio.

Elegance and luxury are subtly suggested by the use of gloss paint and nickel metal-plating on monuments, as well as lightly embossed leather on wall partitions. “I wanted to create a simple and refined atmosphere, lightly decorated by the contrast of dark and bright colours, such as warm brown for some partitions and white ivory for furnishing,” he points out.

As in the previous Airbus ACJ319 cabin delivered last January, the cabin is equipped with the latest telephony system developed by the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre R&D team, offering an in-flight top quality sound. This aircraft also offers state-of-the-art connectivity based on a complete SBB (Swift Broadband) Satcom solution.

“We are very proud of this Head of State cabin delivery. Our customer was very amazed at the high quality of the cabin. It also commented that the interior design is totally in line with initial expectations: being elegant and sober, as well as very favourable for work and rest. This is also reinforced by our sound-proofing results: once again, ACJC has delivered one of the quietest cabins of the market with less than 50 dB SIL in private areas,” says Benoit Defforge, Chief Executive Officer of the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre.
