RAISBECK KING AIR PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS CERTIFIED IN CHINA

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has approved the first two of the many Raisbeck Engineering Performance Systems for the Beechcraft King Air. They are the Dual Aft Body Strakes (DABS) and the Crown Wing Lockers (CWLS). First applications in China are on King Air 350 aircraft. Other applications are currently working their way through the CAAC network.

The certifications are signed by Yin Shijun, Deputy Director General on behalf of the Minister of CAAC, and dated December 2nd, 2011. The certifications followed an earlier visit in August by deputies from CAAC to Raisbeck Engineering's Offices in Seattle Washington. Hawker Beechcraft Corporation assisted in the process and was instrumental in its success.

Bill Lally, Raisbeck's Director of Customer Support and FAA coordinator, supervised the process that led to the Chinese certifications. “The gentlemen from the Chinese CAAC are remarkable for their depth in aircraft technology, and have been a joy to work with. We look forward to processing our other certifications through this organization, including current and upcoming Performance Systems on the Learjet models 31/35/36/60 and all other King Air models.”
