West Star Aviation, Inc. took over maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport (ASE) beginning November 20, 2008.
Jim Benninger assumes the position as Aspen Airframe Team Leader and two full-time maintenance technicians will be available at ASE. In addition, due to the close proximity of their Grand Junction facility, West Star Aviation can ensure that staffing level at the ASE operation is commensurate with the amount of work required.  This flexibility will allow West Star Aviation to provide an even greater level of support for ASE flight operations. Therefore, ASE maintenance operations become another step in the West Star Aviation overall strategy of total customer support.
