BBA Aviation plc, announced that Signature Flight Support has acquired Southern Aero Services Ltd, which wholly owns Interflight Executive Aircraft Services, the sole source provider of FBO services at London Gatwick Airport in the UK.  The new addition will join Signature Flight Support’s leading global FBO network, which now includes 23 locations at key cities across Europe.
Located at Gatwick International Airport, the latest addition to Signature’s FBO network in Europe provides further expansion of the network around the key Business Aviation centers of London and compliment Signature’s existing London serving locations of Heathrow and Luton. The initial consideration for the transaction was £4.5 million on a debt and cash free basis.
This acquisition is in line with Signature Flight Support’s strategy to expand its global FBO network in growth markets where it can see strong value creation opportunities.
