PHENOM JETS TO DEBUT IN EUROPE AT EBACE 2009
Embraer’s Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 executive jets will be shown in Europe for the first time in Geneva, Switzerland, at the ninth European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), to be held at the Geneva Palexpo Exhibition Center, May 12-14. Last April, the Phenom 100 was certified by the European
Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and deliveries to European customers will soon begin.
During the event, Embraer will promote its full executive jet portfolio, presenting the super midsize Legacy 600 jet in the static display, alongside the entry level Phenom 100 and light Phenom 300 jets, while a full-scale mock-up of the midsize Legacy 500 jet will be exhibited at Embraer’s stand, number 7030, Hall 7.
“We are particularly happy to be in Geneva this year and to present both Phenom jet models in Europe for the first time,” said Luís Carlos Affonso, Embraer Executive Vice President, Executive Jets. “Exactly four years ago, we launched these best-in-class executive jets, and now it is a privilege to showcase the revolutionary Phenom aircraft to our customers and visitors.”
Embraer will host a press conference on Monday 11, in Hall 7 (Room 1), at 3:00 p.m., hosted by Luís Carlos Affonso. The focus will be on the Company’s most recent achievements in product programs and developments in customer support solutions.
