PAINT YOUR TBM ON WWW.TBM850.COM
DAHER-SOCATA announces the introduction of new features on www.TBM850.com, its dedicated website for the TBM 850 aircraft. The official website has been enhanced in time for the opening of this year’s aviation season, which begins April 20 in Florida, USA at the traditional Sun ’n Fun air show – where the Model Year 2009 TBM 850 will be on display with its new color scheme.
A key element of the improved TBM 850 website is its three-dimensional color configurator. This interactive tool enables visitors to customize the aircraft with one of three official factory paint schemes: the “Classic 850,” “Deluxe,” and “High Flyer.”
The configurator assists users in selecting their perfect color combination with the choice of 51 factory colors, and also can print out these specifications for the completion center. It serves as a valuable tool for owners, and provides a way for all TBM enthusiasts to image the aircraft in their desired configuration.
Another new feature of www.tbm850.com is a new rangefinder, which enables users to better evaluate the distance potential of DAHER-SOCATA’s very fast turboprop.
Since http://www.TBM850.com debut on the Internet in 2007, the website has attracted more than 230,000 visitors. A full range of information is displayed on more than 100 pages, allowing a complete evaluation of the TBM 850’s advantages in ownership and operation.
“The www.TBM850.com website is the public showcase for our TBM 850, which continues to build a following of aircraft enthusiasts worldwide. For potential owners, the website provides an invaluable source of information,” said Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice-President of the DAHER-SOCATA Airplane Division. “It is where most people will have their first contact with the TBM 850 very fast turboprop experience. This explains why we are committed to constantly improve the website.”
DAHER-SOCATA’s TBM 850 has become an international success – with more than 200 aircraft sold since its launch in 2005, and over 150 delivered to customers around the globe.
The TBM 850 is the world’s fastest single engine turboprop, with a maximum cruise speed of 320 KTAS at 26,000 ft. (in ISA conditions). An 850-shp version of SOCATA’s proven six-seat TBM 700 turboprop business aircraft, the TBM 850 combines the cruising speed and travel times typical of light jets with economical direct operating costs, while offering the range and excellent payload capacity of turboprop aircraft.
