Jet Aviation announces that it has added a brand new Gulfstream G550 to its EMEA & Asia charter fleet. The aircraft, available for charter, has already conducted several long haul chartered flights.
The new aircraft, stationed in Switzerland, is fully managed by Jet Aviation and operates under its Swiss Air Operators Certificate. The aircraft offers ample space for 14 passengers to be seated comfortably during the day. At night, the seating can be adjusted to create five sleeping berths. The ultra-long-range jet has an endurance of close to 14 hours.
“With a G550 based in Switzerland, as well as another G550 in Asia, we are able to offer long-range aircraft to charter customers both in Europe and in Asia,” says Martin Bernegger, senior vice president of Jet Aviation’s charter division in EMEA & Asia. “This enables us to provide more flexibility to our customers, as we can now combine individual flights and increase our flying capacity in this very important segment,” he adds.
Jet Aviation’s select Private Fleet includes three Citation Bravos and a Citation Excel available exclusively for charter flights. All aircraft in this fleet are similarly outfitted and include the latest technological safety enhancements, navigation devices, communication tools, business amenities and entertainment systems. The Private Fleet aircraft are 100% owned and operated by Jet Aviation and are maintained by the company’s highly skilled, factory trained flight and maintenance crews. Cabin and flight crews are specifically trained to offer the utmost in service and discretion. In addition, Jet Aviation’s European charter fleet consists of various types and sizes of managed aircraft. In March, the company will further expand its charter fleet by adding a Falcon 900EX, based in Switzerland.
