FLIGHTSAFETY TO OFFER TRAINING FOR PLANEVIEW-EQUIPPED GULFSTREAMS

FlightSafety International announces the introduction of a new “Required Navigation Performance Special Aircraft and Aircrew Authorization Required” course for pilots of Gulfstream G550, G500, G450 and G350 aircraft equipped with PlaneView.


“The RNP SAAAR course is another example of our close working relationship with Gulfstream and our mutual desire to provide high quality training services to our Customers,” said David Davenport, Manager, Savannah Learning Center, FlightSafety International.

The one day training course, typically taken the day before or following a recurrent training course, includes 3 hours of ground school followed by a detailed pre-flight briefing prior to a four hour flight simulator session.

The course was designed by FlightSafety in conjunction with Gulfstream and Honeywell following the approval Gulfstream received from the Federal Aviation Administration for its PlaneView- equipped business jets to fly “Required Navigation Performance Special Aircraft and Aircrew Authorization Required” airport approaches. FlightSafety offers training on Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft at its Learning Centers in Dallas/ Fort Worth, Texas;

the Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington area; Long Beach, California, at the London Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom and in Savannah, Georgia.

FlightSafety has been the official factory authorized training provider for Gulfstream for over 30 years and currently provides professional pilot, maintenance technician and corporate cabin attendant training using its fleet of 23 full flight aircraft simulators and other advanced technology training devices.
