EMBRAER SHOWCASES EXECUTIVE JETS AT EXPO AERO BRASIL

Embraer will be present at the 13th Expo Aero Brasil (EAB) – International Aeronautical Fair (www.ExpoAeroBrasil.com.br). The event is scheduled for June 17-20, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DCTA), in the city of São José dos Campos, located 80 kilometers from the city of São Paulo.
In line with its commitment to develop and promote aviation in Brazil, Embraer is one of the official sponsors of EAB 2010, and will be at stand no. 1, in the purple section. Three executive jets designed and manufactured by the Company – the entry level Phenom 100, the light Phenom 300, and the super midsize Legacy 600 – will be shown at the event’s static display area.
At this edition of EAB, Embraer contributed to the space created in honor of Ozires Silva, who was Embraer’s founder and first president. Here, visitors can learn more about the professional achievements of Ozires Silva through historic videos. He is considered to be one of the most important figures in the Brazilian aeronautics industry.
Expo Aero Brasil began in 1997, in the city of Sorocaba, in outstate São Paulo. After ten editions, it transferred to São José dos Campos. According to the event’s organizers, 151 exhibitors participated in last year’s show, representing more than 350 companies from 18 countries.
