As an increasing number of Member State authorities in charge of ETS and Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) become mature, EBAA believes it is essential that Business Aviation operators contact them to clarify unsolved questions and to educate them on Business Aviation’s specific needs and operations. To do so, it has released a new flowchart, which is available through their website.
Eurocontrol has finalized the calculation of the historic emissions baseline and the Eurocontrol Pagoda model accuracy assessment. These findings have only been released so far to DG Environment in the European Commission. However, EBAA has already requested a meeting with DG Environment to ask them to release the data to us as soon as possible so that operators are able to comply with their MRV obligations by 31st August 2009.
