Avidyne Corporation announced that they have launched their new ‘Avidyne Live’ Forum and Blog site at AvidyneLive.com.
In addition to the blog, which is hosted by Avidyne’s Chief Operating Officer, Patrick Herguth, the Avidyne Live Forum will include product-specific topics with helpful tips, frequently asked questions and other product information, and which provides a place for dialog between customers and Avidyne’s product development and leadership teams.  These Forums and the Blog are open to the public for viewing.  Posting a response or a question on the Forums will require registration.  In addition, the Forum will host private areas for specific Avidyne customers, such as the current “Entegra Release 9 Insiders” Forum.
“Over the last year we have been working hard to get better connected to our customers, including the close monitoring of the OEM-specific forums where our customers congregate,” said Avidyne COO Patrick Herguth.  “We are now participating actively in the online community in order to connect with a broader range of customers, discuss topics that are relevant to Avidyne and the general aviation industry, and to allow followers to post comments in reaction to the blog topic.”
Typically, Avidyne will have new blog postings on a weekly basis, and Forums will be continually updated. Go to www.AvidyneLive.com to read Patrick’s blog for this week.
In addition to the AvidyneLive.com Blog and Forum site, interested pilots, customers, and media members can follow Avidyne on Twitter at  www.twitter.com/avidyne1, where we will provide updates on the company and advance notice of trade show announcements and press releases.
In addition, Avidyne’s Vice President of Product Management, Steve Jacobson, provides additional insight and color on some of the behind-the-scenes product development activities at Avidyne and comments on industry topics through his tweets, which you can follow at  www.twitter.com/avijake.
Avidyne also hosts over 30 product-related videos on our YouTube site at: http://www.youtube.com/user/Avidyne1.
