AVCON JET MAKES IT A ROUND DOZEN
With the announcement of the arrival of their fourth brand-new Cessna Citation CJ2+, the Austrian Business Aviation company Avcon Jet AG has now enlarged its fleet to twelve aircraft. The new business jet will be home-based at Vienna International Airport and was financed by Austrian HYPO GROUP Alpe Adria Leasing.
The Business Aviation company, with its headquarters based in the Danube-metropolis Vienna, is one of the fastest growing operators in the market. Since the launch of Avcon Jet in 2007, the company has built up a fleet of twelve business jets, which covers the whole spectrum of Business Aviation from small through medium to large cabin.
With its customized solutions for each aircraft owner, Avcon Jet meets the requirements of their clients and always tries to surpass their expectations. Their philosophy of being the “private bank among the operators” is a complete new approach and sets fresh standards for the Business Aviation branch. Customers are seen and treated as partners, whose investment is put in the responsible hands of Avcon Jet to gain profit. The company works for adequate earnings for its selected customers, not for customer acquisition at any costs. That is also why the fleet is limited to only new aircraft that meet the high demands of their customers and make it possible to keep their service quality on an outstanding level.
Alexander Vagacs, CEO of Avcon Jet AG, who personally ferried the new CJ2+ from the Cessna production site in Wichita to Austria says: “Every new aircraft is kind of a big deal and the permanent growth of our fleet makes me proud. But what really affects me at the moment, is that our concept of acting as a private bank for our customers shows the desired effect. We work with our client’s capital, their aircraft, as prudent and effective as possible. Meanwhile aircraft operated by Avcon Jet has an average utilization of 100 flight hours per month - more than in any company I have yet heard about – and that, as a matter of fact, makes the aircraft profitable for their owners. This is getting about within the aircraft owner family and makes us what we are, the fastest growing business jet operator in Europe.”
Werner Slavik, Head of Aircraft Finance of HYPO GROUP Alpe Adria Leasing welcomed the CJ2+ at its arrival in Vienna and said that “HYPO GROUP Alpe Adria Leasing has already financed business jets together with Avcon Jet for their clients and we are looking forward to upcoming deals with them.”
