ARINC TO LAUNCH AIRPORT IT MARKETING PROGRAM WITH ITALIAN SYSTEMS HOUSE
The EMEA Division of ARINC Incorporated announced an airports marketing partnership with Rome, Italy-based A-ICE (Aviation-Information & Communications Engineering), a leading Italian specialist in aviation electronic systems.
A-ICE becomes the first organization to join ARINC’s recently announced Channel Partner marketing program, which is designed to offer highly efficient check-in systems and other modern automation for mid-size and smaller airports.
“ARINC is delighted to welcome A-ICE as the launch member of our Airport Channel Partners Program,” stated Tony Chapman, ARINC EMEA Senior Director ITS. “The principals of A-ICE have years of experience in the airport technology marketplace, and a strong relationship with the Italian Air Transport community.”
“This opportunity to work with ARINC is very exciting,” said Pierfrancesco Musumeci, Director Sales and Marketing, A-ICE. “We can leverage their advanced product line to offer a new level of automation and efficient operation to airports that previously would not have considered adopting such technologies. As a customer-focused IT company, we are always proactive in delivering high value and cost-effective solutions for our customers. ARINC’s airport technologies fit well into our philosophy of constantly updating our solutions portfolio.”
ARINC also announced that it has recorded its first two system sales under the new Channel Partner Program by working with A-ICE at airports in Italy.
“We have new contracts in Verona and Brescia in the north of Italy,” continued Chapman. “These wins demonstrate the success of the ARINC channel partner concept. We are now able to market, sell and deploy ARINC’s technology at airports where it was previously inefficient for ARINC to operate. By leveraging a partner's local contacts and workforce, ARINC can access the market of smaller airports that were previously beyond our reach.”
