Lufthansa Technik AG and National Air Services (NAS) from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed a five year contract for Total Component Support TCS® of up to 40 aircraft.

Lufthansa Technik opened its new overhaul facility at Sofia airport in Bulgaria. The new company is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (80%) and Bulgarian Aviation Group (20%).

Lufthansa Technik presented niceview, a passenger flight information and moving map system, at the NBAA Annual Meeting and Convention. niceview provides worldwide high-resolution 3-D maps and virtual flight views as well as a multitude of informative screens.
