Embraer rolled out its newest executive jet, the midsize Legacy 500, last December 23, from the production hangar at the São José dos Campos headquarters, in Brazil.

Embraer will participate in the seventh U.K. Business & General Aviation Day – BGAD (http://www.bgad.aero/) on Tuesday, September 20, at Cambridge Airport, U.K.

Embraer has accomplished another milestone in the development of its new Legacy 500 midsize executive jet with the joining of the aircraft’s three fuselage sections: cockpit, center fuselage and aft fuselage.

Embraer’s newest executive jets, the midlight Legacy 450 and the midsize Legacy 500, have followed the entry level Phenom 100 and light Phenom 300 jets, as well as the ultra-large Lineage 1000, which won the IDEA/Brasil design award in its first edition in 2008.

Embraer performed the first metal cut, yesterday, for the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 programs. This manufactured part belongs to the first Legacy 500 prototype aircraft.

Legacy 500 executive jet mock-up has reached Mumbai, India. The full-size model will be on display at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel, March 15-18.
