Satair Group, a world leading provider of aftermarket spares support, services and solutions, have entered into a five year exclusive agreement with Honeywell Aerospace, expanding an already long lasting partnership which dates back from 1989. The agreement covers inventory management and distribution for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) implementation on Primus II equipped business aviation aircraft.

Honeywell (NYSE: HON) unveiled GoDirect Cabin Connectivity, a suite of services and mobile applications that helps business jet owners and operators more easily manage and control their satellite communications services and usage. By providing operators with the tools needed to manage an aircraft’s connectivity network via an online portal or mobile device, Honeywell has limited the need for third-party services support and put operators in control of network troubleshooting, access, data consumption, billing and more.

Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire privately-held Satcom1, the leading provider of on board communications routing software and a satellite communications provider of airtime and consulting services. The acquisition positions Honeywell to offer operators a seamless experience with an all-in-one connectivity solution spanning routing software, airtime, hardware equipment, avionics, flight support services and applications. Revenues for 2015 are expected to be approximately $25 million. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2015.

Honeywell Aerospace (NYSE: HON) will power the new Citation Longitude super mid-size business jet from Cessna Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company. Honeywell’s newly designed engine will provide Longitude operators with improved fuel efficiency and reliability while reducing emissions and noise.
