Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, announced the introduction of its newest super mid-size business jet. The G250 offers the largest cabin and the longest range at the fastest speed in its class. The aircraft is capable of traveling 3,400 nautical miles at 0.80 Mach and has a maximum operating speed of 0.85 Mach. With an initial cruise altitude of 41,000 feet, the G250 can climb to a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet, where it can avoid air-traffic congestion and adverse weather.

Gulfstream Aerospace broke ground for the second phase of its new Savannah Service Center. When completed by the third quarter of 2009, the overall service center will be the largest maintenance facility in the world built specifically for business jets.

Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), today delivered its 200th large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G200 business jet.

The large-cabin, long-range Gulfstream G450 and the large-cabin, mid-range G350 business-jet fleet recently surpassed 100,000 flight hours, achieving the milestone less than four years after the first G450 entered service on May 7, 2005.

Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, recently became the first Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to receive approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for all of its aircraft equipped with the Gulfstream Enhanced Vision System (EVS) to obtain operational credit for continuing approaches to 100 feet.

As Germany's main provider of private jets, DC Aviation has expanded its fleet of Gulfstreams with one brand-new Gulfstream G450. This means the Stuttgart company is operating a total of 31 business jets ranging from the Learjet to the Airbus 319 CJ and including two Gulfstream G550s, one G450 and one G150.
