TUCSON, AZ – Nine additional aircraft have joined the growing list of platforms with Universal Avionics Future Air Navigation System (FANS) 1/A+ solutions. Aircraft platforms include the Bombardier Challenger CL-600, CL-601, CL-601 3A/R and CL-604, and Gulfstream 1125 Westwind Astra, Astra SPX, G100, GIV and GIVSP.

TUCSON, AZ – Universal Avionics has joined forces with Rockwell Collins to bring an affordable, integrated Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out solution to Business Aircraft operators. The solution was designed to allow operators to add the Rockwell Collins TDR-94(D) Mode S Transponder to their Universal Avionics SBAS-Flight Management System (FMS) installation to meet the ADS-B Out mandate.

02/04/2015LOCAL AUTHORITY APPROVES LONGER OPERATING HOURS FOR LONDON BIGGIN HILL AIRPORT

Biggin Hill Airport’s (BHAL) local authority The London Borough of Bromley has approved in principle its request to extend its operating hours.

BHAL has requested extending its operating hours from 06:30 hours to 23:00 hours Monday to Saturday (currently 07:30 to 21:00) and from 08:00 to 23:00 on Sundays and public holidays – versus 09:00 to 21:00, currently.

Wichita, KS, March 31, 2015 – Aerospace Turbine Rotables, Inc. (AeTR), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc., announces that it has received FAA certification to perform major inspections and overhauls on the main and nose landing gear for the Bombardier Lear 45.
