06/07/2016AMAC AEROSPACE ANNOUNCES NEW MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

AMAC Aerospace has announced that three new maintenance contracts have been awarded to the facility in Basel, Switzerland. In addition to that a VVIP B747-8i aircraft has been released to service after its first annual maintenance inspection at AMAC Aerospace in Basel.

05/07/2016JOTA AVIATION LEASES NEW HANGAR AT LONDON SOUTHEND AIRPORT

Jota Aviation is currently finalizing the lease of a 23,000 sq ft hangar facility which will be ready in July. It intends to house its own spares for its BAe 146/Avro RJ aircraft and create the future opportunity to establish its own Part 145 line maintenance for its own fleet.

The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh fly-in convention, which has earned its reputation as “the world’s greatest aviation gathering,” will feature the latest members of Daher’s TBM very fast turboprop aircraft family – the TBM 900 and TBM 930 – while also highlighting new cabin features available from 2017.

TAG Global Training (TGT) announced that it has launched an ‘Upset Prevention and Recovery Training’ (UPRT) theory course to add to their established suite of e-Learning courses. “This sought-after training programme has been designed as an innovative three-part e-Learning course and covers the ground training elements in a modular three-year format” said Debbie Elliott, Training Manager, TAG Global Training.

01/07/2016VERTIS AVIATION PARTNERS WITH EXECUTIVE AIR SERVICES TO ADD G550 TO PORTFOLIO

Switzerland-based Vertis Aviation is further expanding its ultra-long range capabilities with the addition of a second Gulfstream G550 to its portfolio. The aircraft, a 2006-built G550, N-G5V, which can seat up to 13 passengers, is operated by 24 year old Executive Air Services (EAS), a Miami, FL based aircraft management, sales and charter company.

01/07/2016JET AVIATION GAINS ACJ AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER STATUS

Jet Aviation has announced that Airbus has appointed its Maintenance, Refurbishment and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Basel an Authorized Service Center (ASC) for Airbus Corporate Jets. The agreement was signed at the 2016 EBACE Convention in Geneva.
