29/11/2016ENDORSEMENT FROM CANADA AS 328 SUPPORT SERVICES GMBH WINS TCCA APPROVED STATUS

328 Support Services GmbH (328) has been endorsed by Canada’s Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) with the award of broad maintenance approval. It allows 328 to undertake modifications and repairs on any Canadian registered Dornier 328 aircraft, from avionic installations to complete aircraft conversions.

TRU Simulation + Training Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced that it will provide Bell Helicopter’s Training Academy with avionics bench training systems for the Bell 407GX and Bell 412EPI helicopters. These two training systems are expected to be delivered to Bell Helicopter, also a Textron Inc. company, in the summer of 2017.

MTU Maintenance, the world’s largest independent provider for aero engine solutions, and Spanish airline Air Europa have signed an exclusive seven year contract for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the airline’s CF34-10E engines.

RUAG Australia’s submission for Laser Cladding Repair Technology was successful in being selected for further development under Round 20 of the Capability and Technology Demonstrator (CTD) Program in Australia. Round 20 was highly competitive, with seven CTD proposals being selected from a total field of over 130 proposals.
